THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'/'ASK ME WHY'
This great sounding 45 dates from early 1963 on the single's 3rd label variation, black & silver Parlophone label: R 4983
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK...' text and have upper/lower case 'The Parlophone Co..' rim texts.
Both sides have the exclusive 'dry' mix, different to the one found on the album.
The 'MPT' purchase tax code is stamped in each run-out.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17217-1N & 7XCE 17218-1N
Stamper codes: 3/GGT & 3/GDG
Housed within its original UK Parlophone company cover.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Clean & unworn with just a single spindle trail around the 'b' side centre hole only.
Disc: EXCELLENT
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing only a few harmless wispy marks beneath halogen light. Both tracks sound great with just a touch of background on 'Ask Me Why'.
Original but tired and could be easily replaced.
