Description
Revolver an original pressing from 1966 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2. The record label holds the abbreviated 'DR.Robert' - this is indicative of an early pressing as they were soon changed to 'DOCTOR'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Please note we are describing this as '1st issue' because it dates from the time of release when Revolver was charting. It is not, however, a '1st pressing'.
Cover (Vg) Well preserved with just some creasing evident. Front and back are still in nice condition with very little signs of ageing. Edge wear is minimal and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. The spine is 100% intact.
Vinyl (Vg) Has been well cared for and has only seen moderate use. There are a few marks, but nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, VERY GOOD level of playback.Yes, there's a bit of background noticeable in places, but nothing that I'd call invasive. These original copies are by far the best way to hear this Beatles classic.
