Description

An original copy of RS on UK Parlophone from 1966. Matrix 5/5. Many folk rate the 5/5 as the best for audio on RS. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with exposed flipbacks. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of the very lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one miniscule deviation. So many copies of RS look good to the eye - but seriously disappoint on playback. But I'm pleased to report that this is one of the best EVER copies I've got my hands on. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A very precise and impressive rendition throughout. Unusually clean for what was a very popular and heavily played title. Even those low-key fussy tracks like 'My Life' & 'Norwegian' & 'Michelle' are super clean [highly unusual]. Very little background observable at all. One solitary minor tick in the opening seconds of W.G.O. A clean high-end copy. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition with just a few thumbnails toward the opening. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process - just light tanning in the odd spot. All flipbacks are intact and secure. Edge wear is mostly minor, but there is a one inch wear-through at the bottom of the opening. I have tape repaired internally - so just a minor cosmetic issue. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Minimal ageing. Bag present. No splits.
