This is a 1965 UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It comes with its original company polythene-lined "Emitex" inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co. Ltd..."and "Sold in UK..." texts. There is an embossed company "KT" tax code around the spindle hole on Side 1's label. The record has XEX 579-5 and XEX 580-5 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are HA 3 and OD 1 respectively.
I have some other UK original 1960's Beatles LP's for sale. So please see my other listings.
Sleeve: There some mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a 1 cm seam split at the sleeve opening on the bottom edge. There is a 4 cm area of more moderate rubbing wear on the bottom edge running from the sleeve opening. There is a 2 cm area of more moderate rubbing wear on the bottom edge at the spine area too. There is some light, mild or more moderate hairline rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges. This is not too noticeable.
There are about 4 pin-head bits of rubbing wear on the top edge, and one on the bottom edge. There is some mild fading to the spine area. There is two more moderate 1.5 cm hairline creases at the centre spine area. This goes through the sleeve to a varying degree. There are about 6 other hairline creases at the spine area. These are less noticeable. There is mild fading to the rear sleeve. There is a 7 cm laminate crease on the front sleeve. This is at the top sleeve opening area. There is an approximately 7 cm hairline crease on the front sleeve too (Ringo's face). There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, this sleeve is in Very Good condition
Vinyl: There is a mild to more moderate 2 cm hairline surface mark at the start of Side 1. There is a very mild 3.5 cm hairline surface mark on Side 1. This hardly really notices under a strong light. There is a very mild 2 cm hairline surface mark at the start of Side 2. Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. There are a few areas of more moderate surface sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, on Side 2. These can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, the vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. The labels are in Very Good+ condition & show moderate spindle wear only.
The original polythene-lined company Emitex paper inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There are no clicks or pops. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
