Description
The BEATLES ’Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ MONO 1967 UK pressing with green card ‘cut out’ insert
PARLOPHONE PMC 7027. XEX 637-1 (1 MGL). XEX 638-1 (3 MRP)
VINYL: A very good clean sheen with a few superficial marks. Both sides play VERY GOOD with occasional clicks and 2 or 3 pops. You can still enjoy this original mono mix form 1967. Both labels have average spindle marks around the spindle holes. ‘KT’ is embossed on side 2.
GATEFOLD COVER: Original 1967 flipback mono gatefold cover. Showing some waviness on the edges and some edge and spine wear. Some laminate creases visible on the front. In GOOD condition but showing some wear over the years.
The LP comes in the original plain white inner ‘Patents Applied For’ on bottom left and ‘Made in Great Britain’ bottom right. It has a split down one side. The shop seller wrote ‘PMC 7027’ on one side because they used to separate The LP and its inner from the display copies. So I believe this to be the original white inner sleeve that came with this LP.
The CUT OUT INSERT is intact but does have creasing and handling wear but is a nice clean example.
Thanks for looking and please check out my other LPs for sale.
