Description
This is the original UK 2nd pressing of the album "Sgt Peppers Lonely Haerts Club Band" by The Beatles on the Yellow/Black Parlophone label catologue number PMC 7027. This pressing had a printing error on side two and omitted the track listing for "A Day In The Life" which was quickly corrected, thus not many of this pressing were sold, resulting in it becoming a desirable item by collectors. Matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1, XEX 537-1 and Side 2, XEX 638-1. The labels display only very few spindle lines indicating this item has not been played too frequently. The vinyl on both sides retains a full factory sheen and only a few of the lightest possible small lines (probably from removing the record from the inner sleeve). Graded at least Excellent, many would grade higher. The record is housed in a plain white inner which is correct for this pressing. The dark green cardboard cutout is in NEAR MINT condition. The outer sleeve does have some rubbing wear, more obvious on the scan for the rear of the sleeve (See Scan). There are a couple of corner dinks and light ring wear. Remarkably, I can't see any creases. Sleeve graded VG+ / EX-. A beautiful item in great condition.
