  Outstanding original factory sealed copy of the 1st West Coast pressing of The Beatles’ second album released on April 10, 1964.  1st print single-type cover with the 1st version brown-red “The Beatles” banner and dark green (emerald) song titles banner as oppose to the later pressing where the band’s name printed in vivid red and the song titles in olive green. The 1st pressing catalog number T-2080 is indicated on the front and back cover as well as the bottom of the spine. The back cover has the RIAA 5 factory number in the lower left-hand corner identifying the issue as the Capitol Records Los Angeles plant pressing. The RIAA number “5” was used on the Los Angeles plant pressings’ covers in the period from 1963 and 1966. This circumstance fully guarantees that this copy is a very early Monophonic pressing. The bottom center of the back cover contains the “"MADE IN U.S.A. • FACTORIES: SCRANTON, PA. - LOS ANGELES, CALIF." text. I have no doubts that this copy has the 1st print black colorband labels without the “Subsidiary..” rim text. Incredible Mint copy in all aspects. All of the cover’s corners are nice and sharp. The original factory shrink wrap contains two breathe holes in the lower half of the front cover and is fully intact without having any splits, tears or missing pieces, with only just some very light age shelf wear.
