Description
Up for auction is a beautiful original 1971 US copy of The Beatles’ White Album complete and still in shrink. Records are exceptionally clean and have been well taken care of. Conservatively graded VG+.
Cover has embossed title and stamped number on lower right corner. “SWBO 101 @ Apple Records, Inc.” at lower left of gatefold. “Stereo” at upper right corner of back cover. Complete with poster and 4 large portrait photos, all in fantastic condition.
“Mfd by Apple Records, Inc.” in lower perimeter of labels on sides 1 & 3. No mention of Capitol Records anywhere on label.
Note B5 “Rocky Racoon” (misspelling of “Raccoon”) went uncorrected until the 1995 reissue of the album.
Winchester pressing with “rifle” stamped on all 4 sides.
