ALL VINYL GRADED AS PER ...( RECORD COLLECTOR'S GRADING SYSTEM).

MINT :  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD :  The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD :  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated ,perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR :  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

Are you a Mono/or Stereo?
Some Beatles fans have their own preference.
I didn't, that is until I was lucky enough to be able to own and play both alternate first pressings. Me, I'm a Mono! And I'm lucky enough to be able to pass on one of my copies here. After sometime searching and being out bid, I finally got myself a copy to upgrade from the one I am selling you here. Listening back over the LPs for grading purposes I was reminded again why the mono mix is, for me, much crisp with nicer separation of the sounds, very full sounding, with a nice warmth to the instruments and vocals.It's a very enjoyable album.

It has a top opening, flip-back, laminate sleeve by Garrod & Lofthouse. It also has an extra WIDE SPINE.The Sleeve is numbered, and shows a nice low No 0062466. It includes a Poster, which has the song lyrics printed on the back.Made in UK ,in 1968 on the Apple label.

Good Night (VG / Light static near end during fade out)
(Condition Overall: Visually you can a few hairline marks and scuff.Would consider VG. However ,due to a 1cm straight scratch I can only grade this side a G. This mark is not audible)

The cover is graded Good+.Still sound, though shows a few signs of wear and tear. Small2" seam split one side.Light discolouration, discoloured scratch on laminate front cover.Spine solid, but shows rubbing to 70% of the surface area. Only The Beatles text can be seen.
Not much creasing, with laminate still stuck down. It is presentable.

The poster is graded Fair, Yes folks, it's been enjoyed.It is held together at the back by tape in a lot of places and the edges are a bit torn.It is old remember. Unfortunately the pictures have long gone.

The original black inners have seen better days and will be replaced with generic white inners. I will send you the black inners. They are in Fair/Poor condition

This is a great album, and a good copy to have as you climb up the collecting ladder.

Please Read: After listening to this , and really looking over it.I am frustrated as to how restrictive record grading can be. This a well played album that after so long has only lost say 15% of its appeal. It's like a beautiful woman with a pimple or two.Sonically the album is Excellent, the mono mix stands out as does the instrumentation and vocals.There is some feint background noise in quieter parts.
There are a couple of times when there is a very smooth skip, or light pop. These are very occasional and I have listed them above.They only last seconds, if that in some cases.I have not had to get up and move on the needle at any time the two skips play through and are very qucik and short.I believe the grading could be raised with a deep clean.
The cover is sound and if it weren't for that scratch, would be extremely good looking.It's not that bad once you get used to it.The spine is not falling apart, but shows signs of being handled lovingly over the many years, it's got great patina, as they say.
Going by RRPG all I can give it a very conservative GOOD+

A mix definitely worth getting to hear.
