Description

A chance to own a nice all round copy of the classic Beatles White Album (1968) in its full glory!  All discs are -1 matrixes.
It's the complete set featuring a top opening cover, black inner sleeves, four photos and a poster. All parts are original. It even has a rare spacer included, which was accidentally left in during the packing process in the factory.
The album is numbered 313,260 (relatively low for a stereo copy as they started being produced at around the 300,000 mark).

It is in good all round condition for a 50+ year old record. Definitely a collection keeper. This is from my own collection and a reluctant sale for me.
I'll give as honest a breakdown here as I can so you know what you're getting:
The cover is very good for its age ... sturdy and strong, clear spine and no knocks or bumps etc. It does have some light feathering around the top opening section (as expected - certainly less pronounced than a lot of copies I've seen) and very some light ring wear but, overall, a really nice example. The inside gatefold, opened up, particularly, is excellent.
Disc 1 has lovely clean labels, only the slightest of spindle wear to side 1 and a barely noticeable hairline mark. Same very good appearance for disc 2.  The vinyl, visually, on every side does have a number of light hairline marks and scuffs. But nothing too deep or major. They've been pretty well looked after, but obviously listened to over the years. Crucially, I've checked the album through and all four sides play fine - no skips or jumps. Only the expected light crackle and the very occasional pop (I only detected one, on the first track).
The four stills are very good, no tears or blu-tac marks or anything. The poster is good, save for 3 very small splits at some of the folds and what looks like a tiny slither of sellotape residue (about an inch and a half long and 2mm thick along one fold).
The black inners are good, one has a small sellotape repair over a tear at one end and a slight split. The other has a split down one side. Such imperfections are not unusual for these fragile inner sleeves and, to be honest, they could probably be easily repaired with some light and careful acid free glue. Overall, they are good. No major rips or creases etc.
Overall then, I'd say this is a good - and in some places very good - example of a much sought after legendary album. I've been a collector for years and definitely among the better conditioned copies I've seen. It's not perfect, but for its age it is nice - plus that spacer is a really cool extra.
