Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - With The Beatles' 1963 mono vinyl LP!
This particular pressing is a third mono pressing, featuring the dark cover, from 1963. The 'dark cover' was the first sleeve, whereby you can only see half of The Beatles' faces. This was correctly on the subsequent pressings so you could see the other features on the other half of the Beatles faces. 
It also features early mother stampers on both sides, indicating an early run of this particular pressing.

EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS ON BOTH SIDES! 






Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are the usual light hairline scratches and general playing wear but no deep scratches that I can feel however! Still retains a really nice gloss and shine. Rated as a solid VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD- with some generic wear, staining and spindlewear.                       Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more non-feelable hairline scratches! Good condition considering it's age.
Audio: I have played the first 2 tracks on Side 1 and Side 2 ONLY! Easily grades as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT! Side 1 starts with the usual light crackle. The music kicks in with a bang! The crackle can be heard in the background throughout these four tracks but it never interferes with the crisp punchy mono audio. These old mono records always hold up well. I can hear all the instrumentation and it has a lovely rich bass and clarity. No skips, sticks or jumps on these 4 tracks. 


Sleeve: The original 1963 mono flipback sleeve sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD+! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine but it does have some light ringwear and light laminate creasing towards the edges. A very clean and vibrant cover though! The rear of the sleeve is nice and white and clean with light staining in areas but a really nice example. Flipbacks are held down tightly. It looks really good for it's age! The spine is 100% readable and very clean. A nice strong example. No seam splits anywhere!
