This superb UK 1st stereo pressing dates from initial 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7070

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text.

 

Matrices: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1

Stamper codes: 2,4/PG & 3/AH

Vinyl weight: 142g

 

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover, complete with original matt black inner-sleeve.

 

CONDITION

Disc: NEAR MINT

An exceptional disc with clean, unworn labels bearing just two light spindle trails on each. Both playing surfaces retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine showing only a few harmless light marks from the inner-sleeve beneath halogen light. The sound quality throughout is clean & clear with no clicks, pops or any other such distractions, even during the delicate orchestral suite on side 2. No upgrade required.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A clean, fully intact example which retains a vibrant, high.gloss front panel showing just a small wrinkle towards the right corners and two 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All corners are in great shape, as are both of the opening edges. The exposed rear panel is clean overall with a hint of toning towards the opening edge only. All of the flipbacks, seams and spine are solid & undamaged.

Clean & uncreased with no seam splits or tears anywhere.
