Description
THE BEATLES "Yesterday And Today" Original US First Press, Capitol Records, T 2553, 1966 BUTCHER COVER 2nd State, Unpeeled
Possibly the most controversial album art of all time. This is a second state, unpeeled edition. You can see Ringo's V-Neck clear as day (see pictures with zoom), the sleeve has the number 6 next to the RIAA seal on back, bottom right of sleeve. 100% authentic!
This has been the crown jewel of my collection for years, and i now reluctantly, must let it go. If you are a professional, and know the best way to remove the peel, this is most definitely frame worthy. Bidding starts at $0.99...you tell me what it's worth!
Condition:
Vinyl: LP is (VG+), play tested, no skips, some background noise throughout. (VG) visual grading, many hairlines, and slight spindling on labels, sounds far superior to the way it looks.
Jacket: (VG to G+) band art still intact, some shelf wear, taping, and split in the middle of spine, and a bit on the bottom right seam lower grade (see pictures with zoom). If you are to peel this, and know what you are doing, you will have a very nice image below for framing, or whatever you wish.
Includes original inner sleeve, and LP is now stored in MoFi audiophile sleeve for life long protection. LP sleeve will be housed in a specially made, snug fit, poly sleeve to prevent future wear.
PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS! I have many other RARE, desirable records up for auction, If you win multiple I will always combine shipping.
All my records are graded accurately, and conservatively.
I use Gold Mine Record Grading: http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=17&page=1
THIS LP IS STUNNING, HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE, AND A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE!
International Bidders, this item must ship priority so your item can be tracked. All vinyl will be shipped extremely fast, and insured for it's full amount.
Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
