Description
This auction is for The Beatles "We Wish You A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" die cut sleeve from Vee Jay Records. These were issued in October of 1964 and was used by Vee Jay Records to sell VJ, Tollie, and Oldies singles.
One side of this sleeve has a piece of tape on the lower left seam (photo 1) but does not appear to have been placed there to repair a split. There is no split in that area. The bottom seam has some fraying in the middle and maybe a very small split visible. The other side of the sleeve (photo 2) shows the glue used by the manufacturer to paste the sleeve together. The lower right seam appears to have also had a piece of tape there but it has been removed and be doing so, the tape removed part of the sleeve. As you can see, the red border on the lower right seam is not there, etc.
Overall still a nice displaying sleeve - condition - VG+.
PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION.
Buyer pays $4 for shipping and handling. Combined shipping is available.
