Description
Ok, one of my treasures ...
The Catch was a short-lived incarnation of the Tourists; the trio were Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart and Peet Coombes. They released one single, ‘Borderline’, which did not chart in the UK. The band then expanded and re-named themselves The Tourists.
I remember buying this single and was delighted to finally add it to my Tourists collection at the start of the 80’s.
The record is clean with no scratches, there is 1 light mark pictured, it took me ages to get the camera to see it! It had already had the middle pushed out (dinked, ready for a juke box) but as it didn’t chart it never found itself out of the supplier into a juke box; then I found it!
I played it, taped it and then added it to the collection. I have showed it off now and then but haven’t played it again, it’s on youtube now anyway!
I Return!
Been 'off' ebay for a few years doing other things.
My collection hasn’t grown that much and now needs to be properly appreciated by others.
So fill your collection gaps or up-grade what you have.
About me
I started collecting in mid 70’s. I worked for a number of years and then sadly helped close the doors of one of the last truly independent record shops in Surrey in ’92. I traded on ebay for a few years at the end of the 90’s, early ‘00’s.
My Collection
Most of my collection is Mint. If not they were professional cleaned before going into the collection.
They have been stored in my house within purpose build shelving, many of them in PVC sleeves.
All grades given are on playability, though 'Mint' usually means 'unplayed.'
PC graded 1st.
P & P
I had many comments when ebaying before on the quality of my packaging, I posted around the world with no problems.
Please note I’m not running this as a business, I am a teacher! Items will be posted in bulk, mainly at weekends. If you have special requirements, such as items required as a gift, just let me know I will give it my full attention.
Also let me know if you are intending to bid on other items I have before they end, I will then combine postage for those you have been successful with.
