Description
DESCRIPTION: Buddy Holly & The Crickets- The Chirping Crickets. Early UK press with matrix ending 1B/1B and front laminated Robert Stace sleeve . This has a very unusual print to frot of sleeve- it has an odd "negative" type effect . Ive photographed it next to another copy with the usual print (although its the scarcer rounded flipback version). Ill send both sleeves. It caught my eye and may interest a Crickets collector. The vinyl is also unusually clean and plays really well. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Coral LVA 9081 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1958 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/F. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. It has some hairlines and a couple of surface lines . Played all of side 1 and some of side 2 on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much Excellent (and i make no allowance for its age). Music is clear, clean and loud. It was difficult to pick up anything other than the odd light tick and an occasional trace of background sound between some tracks. Cover looks fantastic from the front and has minimal wear but has a lengthy tear to rear- see photos. The other cover with the curved flipback is also only F with edge splits. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BEATLES/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
