Description

A very rare UK white label test/reference pressing of Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps.

This copy comes with the original UK sleeve and features handwritten white labels and ILP 005 matrix markings. The vinyl is translucent dark ruby red when held to a strong light, a characteristic seen on some early UK pressings.

Most notably, the sleeve lists “TV Set” as the opening track, but the record actually plays “Drug Train”, making this a highly unusual and sought-after variant for serious Cramps and psychobilly collectors. The hand written white labels have got side 1 & 2 the wrong way around.
I have a short video showing Drug train playing.
