Description
Welcome to my auctions....The time has come to sell my huge record collection over the next weeks/months...so check out my other vinyl listed, more added each week.
I am a private collector, selling my collection, I am not a dealer. Due to poor hearing, The record is sold as visually inspected so please base your bidding solely on this not what it might sound/play like. Even the most visually stunning record can have background noise, if you want perfect audio then please find another copy with audio gradings.
The Doors - L.A. Woman - 1st Press Butterfly Elektra Labels - 1st UK Press - Stereo - Extremely Rare LP - 1971 - 1st Issue UK PVC Window Sleeve with Yellow Inner Sleeve, Embossed 'DOORS' On front of sleeve - This Is a Must For Every Collector
K 42090
1971
K 42090 A1
K 42090 B1
Both Sides Have NO Deep Marks and NO Deep Scratches, There are a handful of very faint and fine surface hairline/scratches and some extremely faint sleeve removal lines under very strong artificial light on each side, It has a really nice shine.
Labels have no wear or damage but side 1 label has a tarnish to one edge which is a pressing flaw. Light signs of spiders legs under strong light...see photos
Original 1st press Unlaminated PVC Die Cut Window Sleeve has Some very light wear edges. Spine has rubbed at the top and is mostly readable, The Front is flat and Clean but with light rubbing/ringwear, The back is flat and clean too again with light rubbing/ringwear. The edges around the PVC window have some wear. PVC Window is great. Not perfect but these 1st Press Sleeves are very rare now.
Original Thick Paper Yellow Inner is flat with no damage or splits, there are a few faint grubby marks but it's a great example.
A Very Rare Record - These never turn up - A Must for a collector.
I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's? Due to my poor hearing, The record is sold as visually inspected so please base your bidding solely on this, in the event that a record may not play well or have background noise no refund will be given because I have no way of verifying and as such, if you place a bid you are acknowledging this
NO POSTAGE/SHIPPING TO ROMANIA
With that said....many rarities will be listed, some fair condition some near mint.
Any questions...please ask.
Premium quality record mailers will be used with 2 sheets of additional cardboard.

For all you that know your doors records, this lp was issued only with red labels and black type then when reissued it went to the butterfly label. No red label with silver writing should exist and in the 40 odd years since I purchased this I've never seen another copy!!!
