Description
Extremely rare mono pressing of Waiting For The Sun by the Doors. Only
seen two, this being one of them. The whole album is a fold down except
for Wintertime Love, which is a rare dedicated mono mix. This is a
Doors' enthusiast item, and one I would keep for myself were it in
better shape. P in the run outs, so I presume its from Pitman.
Side 1: EKL 4024-1A P A 3 Side 2: EKL 4024 B-1A P A 3
Vinyl: G+. Visual grade. Nice sheen, and not too many hairlines, but a number of small scratches I am convinced would tick. Side One is leaning towards VG+, with one tiny scratch on Hello I Love You. Side two is more problematic, with a number of small scratches on "My Wild Love," "We Could Be So Good Together," and "Yes, The River Knows." Nice labels with no visible spindle wear, and no warp. It looks quite clean, but a deep clean may help.
Cover: VG. Spine looks okay enough, with some wear but is still legible and wide. Large corner crease on the bottom left, with otherwise minor corner wear. Other light front and back wear on the cover art. Inner gatefold is a little dirty too. Includes original Elektra inner sleeve in decent condition/
