The Fantastic Baggys - Ride The Wild Surf (IRL 374 Imperial 1966)
The Fantastic Baggys' second album (kinda). South African only press that allegedly only contain 5 outtakes from the debut Baggys album from Sloan and Barri. The remaining songs including 'Papa Do Ron Ron' and 'Ride The Wild Surf' (which is actually a cover of the Tornados 'Apache') are by the South African band The Falling Leaves from what I've gathered but as to this specific copy...
Tried to take some accurate photos to show wear, especially to disc itself. Plays as good as you could hope after an initial inspection. I have personally and fully play graded and it plays through with pretty consistent, moderate surface crackle but 100% plays through with no jumps/skips. No real hard recurring ticks either. Don't want to oversell it because it is heavily worn but it's a hot press where louder tracks mask surface noise and it is still totally listenable on the quieter tracks like 'Surfer Girl'.
Sleeve is split in middle of spine, has some of sleeve torn away at opening and is heavily bent up along with laminate peeling. Writing on back cover and on both labels.
