Description
The Great Recordings of the Big Band Era - Franklin Mint 25 Box Set (some still sealed)
Issued in a 25 volume (4 records per box) set. Each LP was pressed with a special vinyl formulation that enabled a clear, quiet playing surface on a more rigid (heavy weighted) LP disc. Every record was pressed and processed in an atmosphere controlled “clean room.” using pure virgin "ruby red colored" vinyl. Included biographical and historical booklet with photographs about the artists featured. Some boxes also included a letter from the vice president and director of the label with his signed seal of each LP's quality and guarantee.
11 (Eleven) of the boxes are still sealed, and all opened boxes contain the booklet corresponding to the artists in that box. The vinyl records of the opened boxes are in excellent condition having only been played lightly.
