Description

A mono 1st press of Hollie's Greatest on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original flipback cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original EMI sepia inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In nice shape and has been carefully cared for down the years. Under close inspection there are a number of marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity and very little interference. The mono audio reproduction is very very nice and comes across with bags of energy. Interference is minimal just a couple of crackles in the odd isolated moment - very little at all.
Cover (Ex-) In nice shape and remains in great shape. Nice shiny front with a couple of creases. The rear seems to have escaped the usual fading that so often afflicts these sixties originals. All flipbacks are intact and edge wear is reasonably light. The text on the spine is intact.
Inner (Ex) Very light ageing. No splits or marks.
