Description
The Impalas’ 1959 album Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home) is built around one of the era’s great doo-wop hits, a million-selling single that reached number two on the American pop chart. Alongside the title song, the LP includes Oh What a Fool, Fool Fool Fool, Woodchuck Song, and other sides that highlight the group’s distinctive lead vocal and tightly blended harmonies. This original-era mono Cub Records pressing is catalog number CUB 8003, confirmed from the inner label and cover. The record is graded Good with extensive surface markings, scratches, and audible playback noise; the Good Plus sleeve and inlay have taped edge repairs, and a prior owner’s name appears on the back cover and label. It remains a scarce, historically appealing collection-filler copy, and buyers should review every photograph carefully for the exact condition.
