Description

An original 1st press of AYE on the UK Track label from 1967. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover.
Vinyl (Vg/Vg+) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. Do expect a good few marks either side, but nothing heavy or that causes significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a varying level of playback between VERYGOOD & VERYGOOD+ with one deviation. Don't expect inbetweens to be silent you will detect a bit of back ground in places. On Side 1 no major issues just one pop in track 2 otherwise nothing to really complain about - a decent rendition. On Side 2 a mostly similar level of playback except in track 1. That track 1 is exhibiting, for whatever reason, a significant amount of background. It's not a total write-off on that track, but do expect the background to invade. If, however, you can live with that one sub-par track the remainder of the LP actually plays back to a very decent and enjoyable level.
Cover (G+) In nice shape and is showing signs of significant use down the years. The front is not too bad with a bit of creasing. The main issue is that the spine is obviously heavily worn and has been taped over to strengthen/secure it. The rear is exhibiting a fair bit of wear and two tape marks in the top corners. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
