Matrix numbers are (Stamped): 101 DM F-1428 A-1 then (etched ) II 105 DM F-1428 B-5
I have used the Discogs grading definitions for the vinyl and the sleeve. Both are Good + (borderline VG) which is defined as:
"A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback."
However this is a somewhat pessimistic grading as the sleeve could certainly be graded as Very Good and the vinyl is on the borderline of VG. Let me give some more information.
The vinyl has noticeable surface marks. I have tried to show a representation on one of the photographs. However, I have thoroughly cleaned the vinyl with professional vinyl cleaner fluid and I have played the record through on both sides in the 24 hours prior to listing. It plays through without any skips, jumps or repeats. There is some noise which can be noticed during the quieter sections but this is not noticeable during the louder sections. It does not spoil the listening enjoyment. As you can see from the photographs the labels are in excellent condition and the vinyl does not appear to have any significant warping.
The Sleeve has no significant splits, cuts or tears. Both front and back look very bright and good. There is some minor ring indentation noticeable at close range but no ring "wear" to the printing. The spine is intact and as you can see the album name and catalogue numbers are still clearly visible ( although in very small font !) The other seams are intact. There is some wear to the printed colour on the seams but not a serious cosmetic feature and the corners are reasonable.
The original printed inner sleeve is present and in excellent condition with no rips or tears and the edges are not worn through.
The white German inner record protector is also present and in good condition. Some minor evidence of seam splitting with one edge taped for about 2" but virtually invisible.
This is a very playable, enjoyable piece of Acid House/Dance music and this album is becoming much rarer as time passes. You will often see copies available on EBay for £80 or more. I have priced this version realistically to reflect its condition and if you have read this description fully you should not be disappointed.
The record will come in a plastic protective sleeve and properly packed in cardboard.
