The Kinks "Are The Village Green Preservation Society" first UK mono pressing on Pye Records NPL 18233 released in 1968.
The matrix numbers are….Side 1 NPL18233A 3 W and Side 2 NPL18233B 3W
The stamper codes are F/1 and L/1
This Kinks klassic and most sought after record by collectors worldwide and for good reason…. ….it contains some of the best songs ever written by one of if not the best songwriters in the  history of rock and roll Raymond Douglas Davies.
The record grades Excellent,with only a moderate amount of careful of playing. A truly nice sounding example of this brilliant record. The vinyl is clean and retains its deep gloss sheen on both sides and the only noticeable blemish is a light mark on side two,which does not affect this records performance. There are like on most every record out there and yes…Even the  Near Mint's…Some surface noise (nothing serious at all),during some of the quieter passages and again,it doesn't at all detract from ones listening pleasure of this incredible record at all.
The cover is housed in an outer-laminated flip over gatefold
The record cover is laminated and grades an Excellent-. The gatefold cover for this Kinks record  is notoriously fragile and most of these issues.The only issue on this cover is a tear (see last two  scans) on the bottom edge of the front cover that goes to the other side,it was taped by the  previous owner and again look at the scans for a better look…it really isn't that bad,hence the  Excellent- grading.
The spine is fine….On a scale of 1 - 10….The cover is an 8+ compared to those I have seen  out there on the market and the most important thing is…A better copy than this will cost you over $1,000.00.
Comes with the origin poly lined inner sleeve.
