Description
The sleve has a lot of wear to it, at some point it looks like it has been taped together at the top. The record is in great shape. It has only one surface mark, a very fine one, but I've had it examined at a proffessional record dealer in stockholm and he confirmed that it does not affect the sound or playing. It has been well cared for even though the sleeve is in such as dreadful state. It has a flat edge and the Plastylite P, or little ear in the dead wax and is marked RVG. (see pictures for reference) It has the old Lexington Ave label and a deep groove. It's marked BN- LP-152If I read this guide right: http://jazzcollector.com/blue-note/blue-note-flat-edge-all-you-need-to-know/ that would date the record to 1956 and with the flat edge and the ear it would make it an original, pre- Liberty pressing. Also see thiese page for useful information before you bid: http://jazzcollector.com/questions/a-reader-question-re-deep-groove-flat-edge/ http://47west63rd.blogspot.com/2005/02/allan-songer-on-original-blue-notes.html ------------------------------------------------ Shipping: I have a flat rate shipping cost internationally of 15 $. This goes for all countries, including the US. ------------------------------------------------ Some of you might note that this is a relisting of a previous acution that was ended early. I am not a jazz expert and I had to do a lot of research to list this properly. I came across some new information and needed to correct the listing.
