Description
The Mars Volta - De-loused in the Comatorium Storybook / Novella Written by Cedric Bixler Zavala and Jeremy Michael Ward
Original copy of the book which tells the story of Julio Venegas, aka 'Cerpin Taxt', the protagonist in The Mars Volta's first album; De-loused in the Comatorium.
I believe the book was originally supposed to accompany the vinyl version of the album, but due to printing issues, that was never realised.
Copies were available directly through Gold Standard Laboratories - The Mars Volta's label - although the run was limited to 500 copies total.
This copy is in excellent condition. It has been stored by me since I received it from GSL around 2004. I am somewhat ashamed to say I have never read it, hence the spine isn't even creased. There is a light surface corrosion on the staples.
The book measures 230mm (9") square, and has 21 full pages of text, as well as the lyrics to the songs and a couple of small images.
I am open to posting internationally - please contact me if this is of interest.
