Description

An original 1st press of AQOB on the UK Threshold label. Matrix 1W/1W. Pressed on lovely heavy vinyl from summer 1970. The earliest copies are also identifiable by the design of the cover. They were gatefold opening with a flap at one end with a machine punched hole. We also have the lyric sheet and the original blue and white Decca inner dated to 07-70 [summer 1970]. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition an has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are super quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. As is often the case MB's audio is low-key acoustic - very fussy. Don't risk a dud. This copy is delivering a very high standard of reproduction with a perfectly quiet background. Absolutely ideal for this title. I couldn't make out more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Plays clean - consistently. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) A difficult cover to find in top level condition - but this example is looking very spritely. Lovely clean and flat surfaces without creasing or surface wear. The only detrimental thing I can spot is a couple of minor indentations on the rear. The interior is immaculate with just one minor crease. Edge wear is light for this title. All the text on the spine is legible - just exhibits minor edge right on the extreme edge. The flap is fully intact and looks in excellent order. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. Inner bag present. No splits.
Lyric Sheet (Ex-) No problems on the front. The rear exhibits some lightest foxing [no big deal].
