MOTHERS OF INVENTION: WEASELS RIPPED MY FLESH
I will try my best to describe this record as honestly as possible. Photographs are included to help you assess condition and value. I accept that sometime issues like "sound quality" can be subjective so I offer a no quibble return policy if your purchase does not meet your expectations.
Overview: Original UK 1970 1st stereo pressing on Reprise RSLP 2018 label, housed in a non-laminated sleeve. The sleeve is about as close as you will get to one straight from the printers, pretty much mint. Side two is visually EX+ with a non audible scratch (I didn't notice the scratch until I examined the disc with a magnifying glass under a strong halogen lamp). Side one is near mint. I played this alongside the Simply Vinyl re-issue: this is less "digital" sounding and doesn't suffer from the same level of dynamic compression, much more subtle. All in all a stunning copy.
Reprise: RSLP 2028 Stereo
1970
- Matrix side 1: RSLP 2028 A2
- Matrix side 2: RSLP 2028 B1
Labels: Excellent+
Vinyl: Side one is near mint both visually and audibly. Side 2 is visually excellent++ under normal light and plays near mint: under close scrutiny using a halogen lamp and magnifying glass I did notice a scratch that runs radially between track 2 and 3. Side one is near mint both visually and audibly. Inner sleeve: is a die cut original (I think) and it is slightly foxed to one edge due to age. No splits or tears.
The record will be posted out in a professional cruciform mailer (pizza box style) with high quality rigid corrugated card stiffeners, I will take every precaution to safeguard your purchase. The disc will be removed from the outer sleeve prior to shipping. If the inner sleeve is original, I will put the disc in a generic sleeve to avoid damage to the original. The album will also be housed in a PVC protective sleeve.
I don't spend all day hooked up to my computer but will guarantee to answer any questions within 24 hours.
I unconditionally guarantee anything I sell, so buy with confidence.
