The Surfaris
This is NOT the same Surfaris that recorded Wipe Out, This band had a lawsuit against those guys and eventually this band was forced to change their names to the Original Surfaris, this record was NEVER officially released and this PROMO is all that remains!! So how rare is this, well apparently very rare, this has never been posted on E-BAY or sold anywhere else online as far as I can tell. I am not sure how many of these 45s have survived in the wild but my guess is not many. The best part is that both sides are absolute monsters with all the levels red lined and the reverb through the roof! Get it now as it may be your only chance!
The recording below is raw audio needle drop to end with no editing, this is exactly how the record sounds.
Surfari b/w Bombora
Del-Fi 4219 WHITE LABEL PROMO
Both sides are visually graded VG but this sounds much better than it looks, VG+ with only a pop here or there at the end of Surfari
SHIPPED USPS MEDIA OR PRIORITY MAIL, If this auction gets over $100 this will be insured to the price of the auction and if it gets over $300 i will Double box the 45 to ensure protection.
All records are shipped in professional record mailers with protective cardboard inserts.
OUR GRADING SCALE:
M/Mint - The record will be as new and factory sealed
NM-/Near Mint - may have only been played a few times, no scratches whatsoever
EX/Excellent - only one or two light scratches, a nice shine and overall a extremely nice record
VG+/Very Good Plus - a few more light scratches then EX if there is something audible it is very faint, still has a nice shine
VG/VG - a little more rough, a few more scratches then VG+, the shine maybe duller, a few audible pops here and there
G/Good - quite a few audible pops with some deeper scratches, it still plays fairly good with nothing too overpowering in the audio
F/Fair - the bottom ranking, many scratches, sometimes hissing or loud pops may over power the music
