Welcome to my listings.To all overseas bidders Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations ( So please do not message me and ask that I do so ). I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. Buyers are responsible for all Customs Duty/Import Charges in their own country. The responsibility is not mine. All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.
ROLLING STONES Exile On Main Street Rare and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1972 French 1st pressing 18-track double LP, complete with original card picture inners & twelve black & white postcard inserts, heavyweight gatefold internal pocket picture sleeve. Immaculate vinyl in surperb condition. COC69100
PLAY GRADED:
Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.
The LP was played through its entirety and there was virtually no surface noise heard throughout the playing of all sides. What noise was heard was very low and never interupted the flow of music. There were no annoying skips, jumps of mis-tracking. While listening no track exhibited any sticking. There were no loud pops or any other defects heard through every track. There was no noise distortion, while listening the music flowed with crystal clear clarity. If marking out of 10 then this is easily a 9.9 out of 10 playback.
Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise.
THE COVER: The gatefold box cover shows wear to the top and bottom edges. The spine remains intact with the text still bold and visible plus readable with again wear to the top and bottom corners plus the spines edges with creasing. The surface has light storage scuffing. All 4 corners have wear and age related rounding. The opening edge to the box inner shows wear and feathering otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage. I have graded the cover in VERY GOOD condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back cover remains as the front. No other signs of any damage are visible. I have graded the back cover again in VERY GOOD condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: The accompanying coloured inner sleeves have been graded in VERY GOOD condition, with both having a split along on edge.
THE POSTCARDS: The accompanying postcards have been graded in EXCELLENT++ condition, showing no damage and remaining intact.
THE VINYL: All sides of this double vinyl LP still retains all of its original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight looks awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are just very light hairline marks to both sides. There are no deep scratches or surface marks which can be seen or felt. I have graded the vinyl conservatively in NEAR MINT condition.
The condition of both LPs is awesome. Totally archive quality.
This LP has had very light play as evident when listening.
