Description

An original 1st press of GYYYO on UK Decca from Sep-1970. Matrix 1W/1W. Please note label design is consistent with 1st press. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated cover printed by Upton. Also included is the original blue and white Decca inner sleeve date coded to summer 1970 a couple of months prior to 1st release [06-70 = June 1970]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In excellent condition and ha only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is very minor indeed. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - e.g. 'Love In Vain'. But this is very minor and even these low-key numbers still playback clean with great fidelity.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. A lovely shiny unmarked front with just a couple of creases in the top-left corner. The rear is in similar condition and seems to have escaped most of the usual fading that so often occurs. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. A superb specimen.
Inner (Ex) Light ageing and no marks or splits.
