The Smiths “HAMMERSMITH” vintage vinyl double live LP - Rare 80's pressing

 

This is a live double album limited to 500 copies featuring the complete concert recorded at Hammersmith Palais in London, England on March 12, 1984. 

 

The concert includes a guest appearance by Sandie Shaw, who joined The Smiths on stage for “I Don’t Owe You Anything,” a track she had recorded with the band at Matrix Studios in London just one month earlier. The studio version would later serve as the B-side to her version of "Hand in Glove," which was re-recorded with the Smiths' musicians and reached number 27 on the UK chart.

 

Obviously, Morrissey had nothing to do with the artwork here. The cover is pale blue/teal in colour, featuring the trade mark "quality" logo inside a solid red circle, while the back cover displays a blow-up version of the logo without the red circle, and no additional information.
