DESCRIPTION: The Sweet LP- Sweet Fanny Adams.Shiny Orange RCA labels. 1st Uk pressing , A1 (E crossed out)/B1 matrix. Front and back laminated cover with correct white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA LPLI 5038 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1974 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a dark sheen and a few faint hairlines. . Played lengthy passages today on my Pro-ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds a very decent excellent. This is a great LP, very powerful music and fantastic tunes. If you have only heard the Sweet (commercial chart) singles you are in for a shock at how hard, tight and powerful their Lps were. And this is the best one. Cover is firm and square and has less than light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing (mainly around spine area). Some restricted laminate lift to front spine area. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
