Description
Up for sale is a 1968 east coast pressing of “The Velvet Underground & Nico” by The Velvet Underground, one of the greatest albums of all time. This is the 3rd version, which has the rear album cover airbrushed to avoid a lawsuit. The banana sticker has been peeled.
Condition:
Record: Good.
The record has lots of light to moderate surface scratches. The record plays through no problem on my turntable, but expect light to moderate surface noise when playing.
Cover: low end Good/Fair.
The cover has a fair amount of staining/wear. There’s a stain from an old sticker in the upper left hand corner, and looks like someone used the cover as a drink coaster at some point. The back cover shows a fair amount of ring wear. The top and bottom seams have started to split, but the spine is intact.
Not a perfect copy by any means, but a pretty nice playing copy nevertheless.
Buy with confidence! I’m an experienced seller of records! The album will be shipped in a record mailer, with the record tucked in the gatefold to prevent further seam splitting. The record will come in an anti static sleeve, and the cover in a protective PVC sleeve.
Feel free to make an offer!
Shipping is $5.00 media mail.
