Description
Ultra Ultra Rare Dec. 1966 First/Original Stock Copy Mono Press on the dark blue with silver printing Verve Label, of this Great/Influential band from New York led by the legendary Lou Reed (Guitar/Vocals/Head Songwriter). The A side, which was not originally on that first LP (The Andy Warhol "Banana" cover) is "Sunday Morning" sung by Nico which was produced by Tom Wilson. The B side was another song written by Lou Reed & Produced by Andy Warhol "Femme Fatale" (Also sung by Nico) about Andy Warhol's model Eddy Sedgewick. The writing in the "Dead Wax" (As far as I can read them with a strong light and a magnifying glass!) is: A side; VK10466 101592 11 followed by what looks like a capitol L followed by an upside-down capitol L forming a square of sorts. B side; VK10466 100903 11 then those Ls again. This is as it reads at the bottom of the labels on both sides: "MGM Records a Division of Metro Goldwyn Mayer, INC. Made in U.S.A". Pressed on the East Coast at Bloomfield, N.J. "Three Prong Music" (BMI) on both sides of the labels. Personnel: Lou Reed, Guitar, Vocals, Head Songwriter/John Cale, Vocals, Organ etc./Sterling Morrison, Vocals, Guitar, Bass/Maureen (Mo) Tucker, Drums. Vinyl: Strong VG, Bright & Shiny, light paper scuffs, a couple of light marks. None of these issues effect play at all. The record was thoroughly cleaned and play graded. There were No Skips, No "Repeats", or issues of any kind that effect play. Labels: Pristine (See Pics), Very little overall wear, No Writing, No Tape or any Tape Removal issues, No Tears Note: If I can find a Verve sleeve, I'll include it.
