THE WHO - 'MY GENERATION' SHOUT & SHIMMY'
This NEAR MINT UK DEMO dates from shortly before its October 1965 release and is on the red & silver Brunswick label: 05944

Townshend reportedly wrote the song on a train and is said to have been inspired by the Queen Mother who is alleged to have had Townshend's 1935 Packard hearse towed off a street in Belgravia because she was offended by the sight of it during her daily drive through the neighbourhood.

Housed within its original generic red & white Brunswick company sleeve.

A bright & unworn pair with no more than 2/3 faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are totally unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with just a small handful of barely visible, harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine upon close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this outstanding disc lie 100% flat on the turntable and would not require upgrading.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

Played just a few times on broadcast-quality equipment, the sound is clean & unworn throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle or any other audible distractions or faults.
