Description
You are bidding on and unopened copy of The Who Sell Out Decca (US) Stereo LP from 1967, in its original packaging acquired by a relative who worked in a record store . The shrink wrap has degraded in sports (which I have documented in pictures) but is mostly intact, save for a small one-inch spot on the front cover, bottom center (pictured). There is also a pricing sticker at the top right (pictured) with the name of the record store (WIM records, at which this was presumably sold). Unlike many of my relative's records, it is clearly a retail and not a promo copy. I would grade the cover as a Goldmine VG+, no seam splits or cutouts, but there is some corner damage, as documented in the photos, as well as some degradation near the center of the seam where you would remove the record. Otherwise, the cover looks just great, but a nice shine and no fading at all due to the shrink. Of course, I cannot grade the record, but it is an unopened copy (does NOT appear to be loose shrinked/resealed) so I would imagine it is NM or close to it. Probably one of the better examples of this record one will come across, and a fine addition to any record collection from one of rock's greatest bands! Will be shipped to preserve it integrity as best as possible (obviously, I cannot ship the record in its own plastic sleeve due to the fact that this is an unopened copy, but it will be placed in fitted corrugated cardboard packaging)
