Description
Up for auction is the rare LP "The Who Live at the Fillmore East" not TMOQ
With color insert cover w/ shrink wrap intact
This rare find from the early '70's features The Who at the Fillmore East in April 1968. The color insert, with the smoking pig logo, has the number 71071. Shrink wrap on cover is fully intact. The orange smoking pig labels look great, but show some minimal spindle wear. The matrix numbers are 1846 - A and 1846 - B. The vinyl is in VG+ condition with sleeve scuffs and light scratches that are also minimal; the record has been professionally cleaned and play graded accordingly. As issues of this LP go, this is a rare early one with original cover art by Darryle Purcell with each song depicted in cartoon form. The Who deliver a blistering performance, and PT's psychedelic leads on "Relax" have to be heard to be believed! You will not be disappointed. Tracks include: Summertime Blues/Fortune Teller/My Brother /Little Billy/Can't Explain/Happy Jack/Relax/Boris the Spider/My Generation
A great rarity for your Who collection!
Thank you and Happy bidding!!!
