Description
This is an auction for the very very beautiful LP Come Come to the Sunset Tree, which is a set of demos/alternates from the Sunset Tree album (my all time favorite). There are also three unreleased tracks, of which the High Doses and the Day the Aliens Came are absolute classics in my book. The cover is fantastic. Hand painted by John, the front is a painting of a burning tree I believe, and the back is a very powerful red image. It is hand numbered 598/1000 (not all are made though, there should be about 800 out there) and dated 8/26/05. It was made for a taking with the band on tour, but I do believe this was one that was sold direct to select indie stores in the US and part of a later release of just about a 100 or so. Anyways, an absolute classic release, and every once in a while it pops up on ebay, and this is the day that I give this on to a new happy home. Sigh. The condition is as close to as perfect as they come (a bit of a bent corner, slight marks here and there, but very nice overall, and nothing to affect the sound - no marks to LP).
