WHAT IS IT?

The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Thelonious Monk is the first Mosaic boxed set ever. Who better than Thelonious Monk as a feature? It was issued in an edition of 7500 of which this is number 2103. This was only issued in vinyl, not available in CDs from Blue Note when it came out twenty years ago.

The records are in excellent condition because we only played this about twice and then recorded it on magnetic tape. The tapes have been played countless times and we never heard any skips.

The boxed set includes four long-playing records, the notes booklet with complete discography of Monk's career, a blue-colored letter from Mosaic saying they're "extremely pleased to enclose the albums you ordered..." and a white-colored Errata & Addenda sheet.
