Description: This record album is still in excellent condition; still in the original shrink wrap. It was still sealed when I got it and it has never been played. However, the cover has a triangular shaped gouge in the upper left hand corner, right at the edge of the vinyl disk. It penetrates only the front of the cover; it does not go through the back side. But because it was right at the edge of the vinyl, I felt like I had to open it to check for damage to the vinyl itself. Fortunately, the vinyl is 100% intact and still in mint, never played condition. 

This album was originally released in 1954. This particular copy has a stereo sticker in the upper right hand corner and the gold colored Counterpoint label inside also says stereo. Since it comes in the original mono cover, I'm guessing that this stereo re-issue was released in about 1958. It comes in a paste-over cover with no bar code on the back. As best I can find out, these early stereo releases are extremely rare.
