Description
Rosemary Lane by Tickawinda
This extremely scarce folk LP was released in the UK in 1975 and was Tickawinda's only album release (if there were any singles I've never come across them). Although it is basically traditional the feel of the record is certainly unlike many other traditional folk traditional LPs, maybe because of the unbelievable vocals.
It is on the Pennine label and has the serial number PSS 153 which is also etched on the run out groove. I find gradings don't really do the job with records this rare so I've tried to describe the condition in detail as well as adding extra photos below. Please feel free to contact me if you need any more information though!
Cover: there are no tears, scuffs or major damage of any description. There is a little light creasing and a hint of ringwear from storage but given the almost heavy paper nature of the sleeve I think you'd be luckyto find a better one.
Vinyl: There are three fine surface marks and one stronger one. However, I've played the LP in full twice prior to listing and the only fault with the sound is a quite faint click on the run in groove of side one which continues for about eight seconds into the first track. This does not cause a jump and happens once each rotation. My deck is a reasonably sensitive Sherwood and is played through a good quality amp.
Labels: Undamaged.
Postage: Given the value of this record I would strongly recommend that you use a trackable, insured postal service and would be reluctant to use any form of standard post. I'm happy to arrange whichever service you prefer and will only charge the exact cost of postage.
I am happy to post worldwide but all payments from outside the UK must be by Paypal, inside the UK personal cheques and Postal Orders are also fine but I can only post once payment has cleared.
