Description
VINYL is VG+...this was a well cared-for lp and part of my personal collection for many years. Not a lot of play on it, but it does have some background noise at the openings of the sides and some minor scuffs and light marks on the vinyl. Most of the lp plays EX, but it is not a perfectly clean example....so if some background noise bothers you, I would hold out for a perfect copy. They are REALLY hard to find. Especially since the opening of side 1 is so quiet to begin with. This is a 1ST PRESSING label that can be identified by the copy beginning at the 8 O'CLOCK position on the label (later pressings had more copy and thus begin at the 10 o'clock position)-- "Mfd. by Capitol Records, Inc., a subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc., U.S.A. - ® Capitol Marca Reg - U.S. Pat. No. 2,631,859"
ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve. It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked! Ready to enjoy for years to come.
COVER is EXCELLENT...very little ring wear...just a hint on the back side. The spine is fully readable, and in great shape. No seam splits. Since this was part of my personal collection, I did touch up some of the black along the edges and on the corner....I don't recall this one needing much, but I do want to point it out...very hard to see, but if you look closely you can find it.
Includes the 2 posters which are both NEAR MINT and have never been displayed...I probably opened them for the 1st time to shoot these photos. No stickers.
