Description

This LP was always a mystery to me....it is clearly a reissue of some sort (label says Recording First Published January 1967) but it is a Tan label on thick vinyl.  The cover is not like the US covers, however it is not like a UK cover either.  It has the original gold style inner from Elektra that US 1st pressings were issued with, but it has the US address AND a London address on Poland Street.  The back of the cover lists the US address AND a London address on Dean Street.  I looked up the matrix numbers and it didn't shed any light on it.  Anyhow....

VINYL is EX on side 1....no marks to speak of...plays clean and sounds great.  Side 2 palys EX but it has a series of scuffs that extend the last two songs....quite unsightly, but amazingly they do not affect the playback.  Also, the song The End plays clean and clear.

ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve.  It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked!  Ready to enjoy for years to come.

COVER is EX...with original inner as noted above...see photos
