Description
SUITABLE FOR RESTORATION
I'm sorry but I have no knowledge of these !
I can only do my best to describe it but am quite happy to answer any questions, and will take more
photos if it would help. I would hazard a guess that it is possibly from the 1950's but cannot be certain.
It is a Trixette Record Player ( Serial No 64308 ) with a Garrard automatic record changer ( model R.C.75A ).
It seems unusual to me in that it has a built-in VHF & FM radio, the controls for which are on the side, which just works but I've only managed to get a couple of stations.
It stands:- 31" high, is 16" deep and is 19.5" wide at the front and 16.75" wide at the back.
The veneered case is marked and slightly damaged, but repairable. The turntable works but the arm doesn't stay down !
I do hope there is someone out there, living near'ish to Eastbourne, who would be keen to " have a go " at it.
Clearly this is not a case for postage, so it will have to be " buyer to collect "- I would be happy to meet somewhere, withinreason, but please can we discuss this before the end of the auction ?
GOOD LUCK with the auction - contact me, with questions, if it will help.
