Rolling Stones

Let It Bleed

MONO

1969 Press

(Professionally cleaned with Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner)

This is a great example of The Stones, with, in my opinion, one of their best albums. Released in 1969, the record is peppered with hit tunes.

As a bit of trivia: This was the first Stones label to transition to the boxed Decca logo in '69.

(Wonderfully early for this label)

Vinyl:

Quality 152g

VG visually but VG+ audio.

(Have a listen to the audio clip provided-that amount of light background crackle you can hear in the clip is as loud as it gets-so it really is insignificant-BUT NO I do not have a time machine and therefore it is not pristine).

She plays all the way through with a quality deep, rich audio reproduction. There is some background soft crackle intermittently-I noticed it on Midnight Rambler and just some other brief bits of soft crackle in other sections-but nothing at all to ruin my enjoyment of this classic record...It just made me realise this is an original slab of vinyl from ‘69 and not a digital reproduction.

There are some light marks to the vinyl, visible when angled towards the light-she has been played and still plays with vigor and WITHOUT ANY JUMPS, STICKS or SKIPS..

FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.

Quality HEAVY vinyl.

Labels:

EX.

This label was one of the first when DECCA switched over to the boxed logo back at the end of 1969/start of 1970.

There are just light spindle marks, with very almost zero central hole wear-please see the detailed images below.

Lovely deep red MONO labels.

Sleeve:

VG+.

Original hole at the back showing the buyer the Lp is either a mono or stereo copy inside.

Laminated front cover with just a few small crescents of spidering to the laminate.

The spine is perfectly legible.

Light rubbing to the corners....more so to the top and bottom of the spine.

ORIGINAL poster sticker still in place.

WOULD FRAME INCREDIBLY WELL

NO Writing...Small bit of paper stuck to the back car-in the top left corner-nothing significant.

"Sleeve Printed In England by Upton Printing Group" - The very 1st printing run here.

Did you know it was one of Deliah Smiths first jobs-to produce this cake for the front cover??!!

Inner:

EX!

It is an ORIGINAL DECCA MONO inner with the red border.

*NO SPLITS*

NO WRITING

Poly-lined.

Just some light and insignificant creasing evident-really has survived remarkably well.

Has certainly done her job by looking after the vinyl for all these years.

ALL IN ALL THIS IS AN ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION AND IS A COLLECTORS PIECE IN IT'S OWN RIGHT STILL PROVIDING GREAT AUDIO.

DON'T FORGET THE EARLIEST MOTHERS TOO!

(Maybe subject to VAT when sold within the EU)
