Description
This is a 45 by Donald Perkins on Prcesion Records (Hollywood, CA) 1001. Runnin' on the Wild b/w inst. The artists name (Donald Perkins) has been marked on both sides with "Cosmic Force" handwritten beside the scratched out name. The songwriter listed for each side is "Vajava" and he is also credited as the producer. From doing some searching on the web Vajava looks to be Larry Lewis (aka Vajava Mogumbo) who had some involvement on some of the Tribe label recordings (Wendel Harrison, Phil Ranelin, etc.). He is also credited as a song writer on Cosmic Force's "Why Don't Love" 45 on Tribe.
Visually, the playing surface is G+ to VG- (some gloss is still present, covered with longer and shorter scuffs and marks on both sides and a few smaller marks can be felt). BOTH labels are in POOR condition and have HEAVY overall wear/damage. Both labels have lots of staining and spotting along with several larger and smaller tears on each side. Listen to part of the record above (clips from actual record with no filters).
All records are visually graded unless a more specific descritption of the sound quality is listed above.
