Uriah Heep, Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble, Orig UK Vertigo G/fld LP, EX/EX+, 1st Press!
Description
Original UK stereo Vertigo large spiral label 1st press, with the earliest 1Y/1 2Y/1 matrices & 1-1-1/1-1-3 mother stampers, the spiral inner is dated '10/70', the month of its original release, with the corrected publishers credits on the labels! The front laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and a couple of laminate creases on the front cover and a small scar on the inner cover. The spine is intact & fully readable, the Vertigo spiral inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two very faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings! The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves before the music begins, overall a really great loud and punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; 6360027, 1Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-3, 2Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-3. This is one of the very earliest pressings of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!!
